It has been a long time since I posted, and I’m sorry, but I can plead server problems for my website, company, extra church meetings, glorious warm weather at last, the push to finish up our school year. All of these things have left little time or inclination to write anything.
I’m not going to do our regular Library Time post of what we’ve been reading. Instead I’m going to invite you to join in a Jane Eyre read-along that I’ve been participating in and enjoying.
My blogging friend at The Edge of the Precipice is doing this read-along. I’ve never done one before and let me tell you that it’s fun.
In case you don’t know what’s involved in a read-along – I didn’t – every two days or so thoughts and discussion questions from another chapter in the book are posted. I really enjoy digging into books and discussing them, but I’m not very good at it without some direction so this has been great for me.
We’re only up to chapter four. There’s still plenty of time for you to join in. The first post which introduces the book is here. You can easily find the posts for chapters 1-4. Or you could just read the book up through chapter 5 and jump into the discussion there.
So does this sound like something you’d be interested in doing? Have you ever read Jane Eyre? I haven’t read it in years and am enjoying this re-read.
Thanks for the shout-out! New post coming later today (I hope!).

What a great way to put it! That’s just how I feel — stirring up my brain. One can only take so much Dr. Seuss. Thank you for joining in!
