So many times people think that being a Christian means you go around all day with a serious look on your face thinking spiritual thoughts and performing sanctimonious acts. You never have fun. Life is dull.
Nothing could be further from the truth! Life is worth living when you are saved. There is joy – joy is different from happiness because even in the middle of sorrow you can have joy.
This song expresses this thought so will. Every day can be glorious when you’re walking with the Lord. He saved us so we are no longer held by the power of sin. We have an eternity in heaven to look forward to.

Intentional Simplicity 
I think some people believe being a Christian means having to try to follow lots of rules perfectly. When the truth is that we know we can never obey God’s rules perfectly, we can never earn our way to heaven — and we don’t have to. Instead, we obey his commands out of love and thankfulness and joy. Being a Christian is truly a deeply joyful lifestyle!
