So all over Pinterest you see these list of hacks that you just have to know. I do not claim to be a creative person on my own. I can follow a pattern or a recipe and maybe do a little embellishment, but mostly I need lots of direction. Which is why I was so happy with this idea for a toilet paper holder that I’m going to share with you.
Probably about a year ago my husband was helping his sister with a move. She had a CD shelf that she no longer wanted so my husband took it. When he came home I knew exactly what I wanted it for – my bathroom.
We have a very small main bathroom (washroom – here in Canada ~smile~). There’s not any extra space really, but there was space for this shelf beside the linen closet.
I use it for extra rolls of toilet paper and a couple of shelves for my boys to store their toiletries on. This is nice because it keeps it out of reach of their little brothers. Our girls have their own washroom off their bedroom (nice, eh?)
So here are some pictures so you can see what I’m talking about. I wasn’t able to get the whole thing from top to bottom because I couldn’t stand far enough away but I think you’ll get it.

So now it’s your turn. Do you have a great life “hack”?

Do I even know what a ‘hack’ is? I think the computer world has raced ahead of me 😦 I’m still trying to figure out hash tags. People have tried to explain them to me and I just don’t “get them” :(.
Back from the rabbit trail (thanks Dad for teaching us how to do that haha), that is a great idea 😉 I might have to start looking for my own CD rack and “steal it” LOL.

I’m not really clear on hashtags either. 🙂 I wonder what technology our children will struggle with that our grandchildren will breeze through. 🙂
