The other day I had this song – Safe Am I – pop into my head.
I learned this song as a child but haven’t thought of it in years. Then just when I needed its message the Lord brought it back to me.
I more determined than ever to make sure my children learn gospel choruses. They seem so simple, but so many of them carry so many wonderful truths as well as bringing comfort and encouragement.
Safe am I, Safe am I,
In the hollow of His hand;
Sheltered o’er, sheltered o’er
With His love forever more.
No ill can harm me, No foe alarm me,
For He keeps both day and night.
Safe am I, Safe am I,
In the hollow of His hand.
What songs from your childhood have encouraged and blessed you recently?
