I heard my husband sing this chorus numerous times in the past year. When the pain went beyond the power of the medication he would sing this song softly to himself to distract himself from the pain. It was such a testimony to me that even in suffering my husband could still praise the Lord.

He is Lord, He is Lord!
He is risen from the dead, and He is Lord!
Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess
That Jesus Christ is Lord!

In the middle of suffering turn to the Lord because He’s the only One who can truly carry you through safely. I can still say that Jesus is Lord, and that He does all things right. Not because of who I am, but because of who He is.
