Another busy week! But I still managed to sew even if it meant doing it early in the morning before I woke the children up.
My son asked me for a gun case for his airsoft gun. I was a little nervous about this project because I had no idea how I was going to do this. I had to draft the pattern on my own, but as it turned out it was easy. I’m happy with how it looks, know where I could improve, and best of all my son is delighted. Now his younger brother wants me to make a case for him when he gets a pellet gun. Ah! the sewing fun never stops.

My youngest daughter pointed out that I’ve made messenger bags for everyone but her. So I had enough fabric left from the pillowcase dress and purse that I made last week to make her a messenger bag. She was so happy. By the way, I did a tutorial yesterday for the purse I made last week. If you missed it you can find it here.

Now on to what I found interesting on the internet this week…
I love these pictures of vintage kitchens. I’ve always loved looking at pictures of vintage houses. They always seem so gracious to me.

I love these two ideas – chicken soup and bean burritos. Both are simple and can easily feed lots.
I always have to pin at least one dessert every week. This one has me drooling – peanut butter and chocolate – my favourite flavour combination.
Not too much this week because I was too busy sewing to have much time to surf. Did you find anything interesting on the internet this week?
