Finally I have a laptop that works. So I’m back in business with my digital scrapbooking. Very happy. But we lost my camera chip – unhappy.
I’ve also been busy this week in my youngest sons’ bedroom. I’ve had new wallpaper for their bedroom for months, but I’ve been afraid of it. I didn’t realize it when I purchased the paper – it’s not pre-pasted. I’ve never done wallpaper that needs paste added to it. Well, on Wednesday my husband took two of the boys out for several hours for “guy time”. While they were gone I started papering the walls. As per the norm in these situations, I really had nothing to be afraid of. The only problem was that I hadn’t bought enough paste. I was able to do about half of one wall. What do you think?

I’m thinking about doing a series on hope chests – history, importance, what to put in them, etc. Does that interest anyone?
I talked last time about wanting to make my own hanging flower baskets. Well, I saw this article about flower beds for shady areas. The bottom end of our backyard is all shade, but I’d love to have flowers down there. So after reading this article it got me started thinking about planting shade loving plants down there. It would certainly pretty up the bottom of our backyard.
Don’t laugh, but lately I’ve been thinking about making my own underwear. Crazy, right? It’s not like I need another things to do, but the thought of a perfect fit plus fabric I like is very enticing. Plus, I like the idea of trying something new. Anyway, this post has pretty much everything you need for learning how to do your own underwear.
I LOVE oatmeal cream cookies. I am so going to have to make this homemade version sometime.
I really need to go and mark papers now (not the fun part of homeschooling), so I’m just going to leave it at three posts this week.
I hope you all have had a good week too.
Wow. The only time I’ve ever wallpapered was when I put up a fun border in our main floor bathroom. It was prepasted and a HUGE pain. But turned out nicely. Your wallpapering looks great!

Thanks. I’m no professional, but I actually enjoy putting up wallpaper. I’m still happy with how this is turning out.
