How sweet in the day-to-day hardships of life and in the harder trials to be able to rest in Jesus. To feel that you don’t have any strength in yourself to go on, and yet you have Jesus.

Time after time as I walk through hard times and trials I am amazed at the Love that has gone before me to soften the road. These words in the second verse express my astonishment at times – “O, how marvelous Thy goodness,
Lavished all on me!”

Jesus’ love has time and again met and supplied my needs and surrounded me with blessings. I really cannot do justice to all that He has done for me.

In the joy of what Thou art;
I am finding out the greatness
Of Thy loving heart.
Thou hast bid me gaze upon Thee,
And Thy beauty fills my soul,
For by Thy transforming power,
Thou hast made me whole.

O, how great Thy loving kindness,
Vaster, broader than the sea!
