Summer is fun with no school, day trips and vacations, sleeping in, playing outside, lazy days, BUT I am looking forward to cooler weather, school routines, walks in the crisp fall air, cuddling (something no one wants in the heat) and a fire in the woodstove.
I recently made another clutch. It’s the same pattern I used for my middle daughter but it turned out a little differently. You can find the pattern here.

I had my hair cut this week. I tried a slightly different style with some fear, but I really do like it. And the shorter hair is nice in the heat.

When it’s too hot for anything else, there’s always Pinterest! Here’s what I found this week.
I love sunflowers so I love how this wreath looks. I want to try it next summer.

How adorable are these baby socks!
I hope you’re enjoying the last couple of weeks of summer. We still have lots of things to pack in before we get back to school!
Awesome. I have a shirt of Pierre’s been keeping to make a dress for Melanie. There are some good ideas here.
We start school Monday so I’m hoping I can sew a bit more as fall approaches. Been too hot and busy to do so. I’m not entirely excited this year to start school because our summer has been amazing.
