Friday File 60

This has been a busy week of sewing, sewing and more sewing. I’ve enjoyed it so much. It has felt awesome to clear out some of the projects in my mountainous pile of projects.

I made four messenger bags – three for children and one for a lady friend.

I also mended several things that needed mending. My daughter wanted a pair of culottes, but I didn’t have a pattern. So we borrowed a pair of her brother’s pajama pants, she tried them on, and we made a pattern from that. This is the first time she has sewed clothes for herself. I made a pair of culottes for her youngest sister at the same time.

I talked in this post how much I love bullet journals, however I realize they’re not for everyone. I really liked this woman’s take on it.

I don’t know why, but I always have such a hard time finding little baby hats. This post looks perfect for sewing your own.

It truly was my pleasure. I love making bags and purses. I just made one for Elisabeth this week. It’s nice that a hobby I enjoy can also make other people happy – win/win all the way around.
