I’ve been doing lots of scrapbooking this week, and I was able to get a new Sunday dress 90% finished for my youngest daughter. I tried something new on it and was so happy with the results. So was my daughter.
The weather is finally warming up, and my children are thoroughly enjoying our back yard. Well, they are now that we bought them something to climb on. Our yard literally had nothing for our little boys to play with so every time they went outside they got into something that they weren’t supposed to. As much for my sanity as theirs I asked my husband to buy this climbing dome. It’s been a huge hit.
By the way, the shed to the right in the back of the picture was the original entry way to the church we now live in. In case you missed it earlier, our home is a church that was built in 1861 and converted to a residence sometimes in the 1950’s or 60’s. How cool is that? I always wanted to live in one of the those converted churches.
My rhubarb is really starting to come up now!!

And just one more picture. My mom’s cat is a real sweetheart although you can’t tell from this picture. She’s been longing to go outside so my mom bought a harness and leash so she could be outside and not run away.
I enjoy using conversation starters at the supper table. We’ve had some really good discussions start that way. This post has a list of 40 conversation starters with a free printable.

Are you getting tired of school. Maybe you could do one of these unit studies to switch things up and make school feel fresh again just before you stop for the summer.

Earlier this week we talked about making your supper table pretty. Here’s a post on how to fold your napkins in a pinwheel.

Here’s a cute idea for a simple gift for a baby shower. I think it would also be a good way to use up scrap fabric. I always have LOTS of that.

I hope you’re having nice weather and enjoying it wherever you are.
Love the climbing dome! I could use one of those. My monkeys could climb it instead of the walls.
Rhubarb! I love rhubarb! I’ve never grown it, though.
And I am thoroughly sick of school, but Sarah’s Kindergarten work is finished, and Sam has only one week left of 2nd grade, so I think we can survive!
BTW, I nominated you for a Liebster Award here. Play if you want to 🙂

The climbing dome was one of the best ideas we ever had.
In my last country home I planted rhubarb but moved before I could eat any. This rhubarb was here when we moved in!
We’re slowly ticking off finished subjects. Fun.
I’ll have a look at the Liebster award. Eva told me not to be scared of it. 🙂

Haha! No, don’t be scared of it. It’s just a tag, and a movie-related one at that. Only play if you want to!
