We’ve had a good week. My husband and I started the week with our 18th anniversary on Sunday. My husband had the week off, and we enjoyed lots of family time. On Thursday my husband took me to Ikea. I love wandering around Ikea and getting ideas. We bought some curtains and a lamp that we needed.

I needed this reminder of chickpeas for a snack. It seems like my children want to eat all. the. time. I need more ideas of nutritious and filling snacks (emphasis on the filling ☺)

Here in Canada we’ve had Thanksgiving already. This year I tried something new..something I learned from Laura at Heavenly Homemakers. I made the mashed potatoes right after breakfast, put them in the crockpot until we were ready to eat, and they were fantastic. Very simple, and I will always do this from nowon  for holiday meals.
