This has been quite the week for me. I’ve been sick with the flu that wouldn’t leave. I used essential oils to help with my breathing, vitamin C powder to give myself megadoses of this vitamin and the occasional ibuprofen when the aches and headache just felt too overwhelming. I finally feeling like I’m getting beyond this and able to take care of my home again. Thank God for daughters who know how to cook, clean and take care of little ones. I would still be sick if I’d had to do all of that this week.
I love all of the patterned duct taps that there are now, and the internet is full of so many cute/fun projects to do with them. Here’s a post with a round-up of ideas for crafting with duct tape.
I love this idea for using pancake batter. The amount of batter I make would make two pans of this dish for breakfast. I definitely want to try this soon.

Big Breakfast for Busy Families
Sometimes I feel like as fast as I clean up the house my two little ones are coming behind me making a mess. Sigh. I know it will get better/easier as they get older, but in the meantime it sure feels pointless sometimes to take care of the mess.
We only have one more week before it’s back to school. I’ve enjoyed the summer, but I’m looking forward to the school routine. Do you like the school routine or do you wish it was summer all the time?

I like the “duct tape crafts” – Em loves duct tape so I’ve saved it to show her.
I LOVE one pan dishes for breakfast – definitely the pancake one is a keeper!
I hope our garden goes better next year (Pierre said we will move it to higher ground haha) because I want “zillions of zucchinis” – I love zucchini.
Another good one dish breakfast! Wonder if my girls that do not like fried eggs would like the breakfast egg dish. Hmmmm
So every time Stef is in my room and I’m reading your posts, she points out how pretty the hair clip is 😉

K, I’ll do that – and yes I need to buy her some – she is very creative. If you look at the pics I posted this morning (Sept 1st) – you might be able to see the necklace she made with twine and feathers.
