Friday File 29

We’re feeling so settled into our new house now. This week I hung just about all of our pictures and made some curtains for our daughters’ bedroom. It feels so good to be getting back into a routine that feels normal instead of a frantic push to get everything done so I can feel normal – make sense? We’re even adjusting to rural internet and finding out it’s not as bad as we expected.

I plan on making a couple of these aprons next week – one for me and one for my mom for clothespins. They look easy, and we have tons of extra pillowcases. I’m actually going to do one, and have my nine-year-old daughter do the other. She’s super excited to do a sewing project.

If you’re going on a road trip soon, I’m sure you can find something here to help keep the children occupied.

I have tons of fabric scraps. I think this would be a fun project to work on this summer for my little boys.

I need one of these aprons for my phone LOL – so many of my clothes do NOT have pockets and I like to carry it around to listen to music or chat online while working. Gonna have to make one! One for Stef and her phone would be nice, too :).
The plush alphabets are so cute – how about for the new niece/nephew? 🙂
