Friday File 28

It’s hard to believe that we’ve lived in our new home for almost two weeks now. The insanity of the first few days of feverish unpacking is over thankfully. Now I’m just unpacking one or two boxes each day and fine tuning where I want everything to go.

I’ve also been getting ready for our first high school graduation and party. I’ve been sewing a dress for my daughter that has taken me out of my comfort zone, but it’s nearly finished and looks great. So yeah for being pushed and growing in this skill.

Last week I had a post scheduled. It published but never showed up. So this week I re-published it, and again it never showed up. Don’t you love technology? Anyway, you can find it by clicking on this link…

I also read an interesting article on the difference in book lists for middle school children from a 1908 school and a 2014 school.

I loved this idea of having one basic chocolate cupcake recipe and switching it up with different toppings.

Now that we’ve moved we’re hoping to adopt a cat. I love cats and can hardly wait. What is it about cats and boxes?

That’s all for this week. Just enough to let you know I haven’t forgotten you. ☺
