We’re down to counting days now instead of weeks. We’re almost down to counting hours until we move! Thanks to MAJOR help from my children I’m feeling fairly organized and ready to go. My oldest son has been especially awesome this week dismantling all the beds.
I certainly have enjoyed time at the computer forgetting about all the work and just taking a break. Here’s the things that I found interesting this week.
If you’ve read this blog for any time at all you know that I’m a huge fan of breastfeeding. At two and a half my youngest still nurses once or twice a day. It’s been a nice way to calm him down in the chaos of his life right now. This blogger has a cute t-shirt giveaway going on in support of breastfeeding. As well, this article explains why it is so healthy for mamas to kiss their babies – lots.
Kiss Your Babies to Keep Them Healthy
My husband loves to roughhouse with his little ones. Chances are yours does too. Children need their fathers, and science backs this up. This post has a small video explaining why roughhousing is so necessary to your child’s development.
The Influence of Fathers (According to Science)
People worry that children in large families don’t get enough individualized attention from their parents. Worry no more. I’m not worried. I’m with my children a lot through the big events and the little ones, the good and the bad.

The Elements of Biblical Womanhood
I think I’ve shared this video before. If so, please forgive me and indulge me. Every so often I like to watch this song and laugh and cry because it portrays what a mom is like and shows we’re all the same.
I hope to see you again next Friday. I have some posts ready to go for next week so that I can concentrate on getting unpacked as quickly as possible.
Hello, Jennifer! Thank you for mentioning my article on biblical womanhood. What a wonderful surprise!
Be blessed!

I’m always amazed when people wonder if our children get enough time with us. Parents who work see so much less of their children then we do and I wonder about theirs :P. Like you said – we’ve been with them each step of the way for each kid!!
No bake snickerdoodles – it looks easy and Em LOVES snickerdoodles so she’ll have to try these :).
Very good article on Biblical Womanhood. Best gift we can give our children is to give them a godly mom.

Sometimes it’s almost too much time with them 🙂 when you can’t even go to the bathroom without someone needing you. 🙂
