I love making wreaths and displaying them on our front door. I have to admit some of my first attempts have been a bit on the cheesy side, but I’m getting better. I have a board all about wreaths on Pinterest, and I thought today that I would share my favourite ones for the Spring and Summer.
To find the original source and instructions for any wreath, just click on the picture. Many of these are very simple to make – a big plus for me.
The first one is made with clothespins. I love clothespins because they make me think of all the happy times I’ve had hanging and collecting my laundry outside.
This next one is not technically a wreath, but it’s such a cheerful door hanging that I’d love to have one. It’s called a Fall Wreath, but too many it’s more like Spring.

If you like paper crafting, this wreath is for you. You could pick your favourite colour, but I know my youngest daughter would want me to stay with the pinks shown here.
I love the look of this next wreath. Simple to make but so pretty.
If you have lots of odd pieces of scrapbook paper laying around this wreath would be a good way to use it up.
Or if you have ribbon scraps. This would be a great wreath for using them up.
This is a cute and easy wreath, and one that your children would have fun helping you with.
This one looks super easy, but it sure packs a big hit of bright sunshine.
A fabric-wrapped wreath. I love the colours in this one.
You know I had to have a button wreath. This is a mini one that you could hang in your window – I’m thinking my kitchen window where it would make me smile every time I saw it.
Do you hang wreaths on your door? What’s your favourite kind of wreath?

I don’t do wreaths other than at Christmas but I may need to rethink that 🙂 The ones you have here are all so gorgeous and look so doable that I can’t figure out which one I’d like to make!

I think they set a nice tone for company (and family) as you come up to the door.
